Womens Challenge Cup

Termonfeckin made the long trip to Westmeath on a hot summers day to take on a Premier division side in the last 16 of the cup.

Knowing Termonfeckin had nothing to lose they started like the weather and came out of the blocks in hot form and on the front foot finding themselves 2-0 up inside 10 mins with debut goal by Katie and Captain Char.

A slight mix up at the back let the premier division side back into it.

But the Division 2 side weren't for stopping tonight with further goals from Aoibh, Dee, Katie and Rosie to make it 6,Kinnegad pulled one back on the stroke of half time to give them some hope at the break.

Half time 2-6

2nd half as expected the Premier division outfit came out flying and throwing everything they had for the 20 mins but the away side held strong and and weren't for denying,as the half went on the Div 2 side went for more and got their rewards when debutant Katie Hall got a deserved hat trick to make it 7-2 and to seal Termonfeckin place In the 1/4 finals.
