Huge Congratulations to our u16s Girls on a fabulous display of football this morning. After coming off a very convincing win away to Albion a couple of weeks back the girls were in fine form coming into this one.
Connie Devine set the tone with a very well taken goal after 5 mins. Maddie Reynolds followed it with a cracking strike from just outside the box 11 mins in. And when Niamh Byrne struck with another cracker on 21 mins the game was never in doubt.
2nd half Quay came out strong in the 2nd half and got one back but this only woke the Termonfeckin girls up again.
An Abby Quinn goal on 58 mins got things back on track and the girls took full control of the game. With a commanding display in midfield Elizabeth Hughes got on the score sheet to make it 5-1 with a beautiful strike into the top corner. It was another excellent team performance all round the Girls look like they have a long wait now until the Cup Final. 💚🤍💜
